Apply for a Federal Direct Stafford Loan

Phillips Graduate Institute participates in the Department of Education’s Federal Direct Loan Program. Federal Direct Stafford loans have a fixed interest rate of 6.8%. Repayment of the loan will begin six months after the student graduates or drops below half-time enrollment. Student may also qualify for deferments and/or forbearance during residency and internship.

Borrowers are required to complete the loan entrance counseling prior to completing the Master Promissory Note. Students can apply for a Federal Direct Stafford Loan, complete the Master Promissory Note by following the directions below:

Verify your personal information

Click on: COMPLETE ENTRANCE COUNSELING 

Click on: COMPLETE MASTER PROMISSORY NOTE

Select loan type: STAFFORD LOAN

Follow through until the process is complete
