Cash Gifts & Pledges:  Gifts of cash are available for immediate use by Phillips and are usually fully deductible for donors who itemize deductions.  Contributions that are not restricted for a specific purpose are always welcomed and will be applied wherever the need is greatest.  When you do not restrict the use of your gift, Phillips gains flexibility not otherwise available, allowing it to meet changing or urgent needs.  However, cash gifts also may be designated to one or more specific programs or funds according to the wishes of the donor.  In addition, major gifts may be made as pledges where the gift commitments are to be fulfilled during a specific period of time according to a prearranged payment schedule.

WHY GIVE?

Phillips’ students are passionate and motivated about helping their neighbors and communities by improving relationships among individuals, couples, families and organizations, preventing violence and abuse, and assisting people to function more effectively as full-members of society.

Your gift to the Phillips Graduate Institute can  . . .

  • Support one of Phillips’ clinic programs that enable greater access to mental health services for our low-income and at-risk neighbors.
  • Improve the academic achievement of a troubled child by furnishing school-based family counseling.
  • Enhance the academic training of Phillips’ students by donating to its library or technology funds.
