What is the Phillips Alumni Association? | Benefits of Joining | Bylaws of the Phillips Alumni AssociationWhat is the Phillips Alumni Association? The Alumni Association is a networking and service organization made up of graduates of Phillips and former CalFam trainees dedicated to serving the community. As members, alumni from all programs have the unique chance to increase the value of their degree. The Phillips Alumni Association provides several important opportunities for graduates. Licensed practitioners may become providers of counseling services to current Phillips students. They can also serve as Volunteer Supervisors to Student Trainees and Marriage and Family and Doctoral Interns at CalFam. Practitioners have the opportunity to become adjunct faculty members at Phillips, serving as Instructors, Practicum, Group Dynamics and Case Conference Leaders. Graduates can also serve as mentors to current students. Alumni can become involved in the many events and services that Phillips provides within the institution and the community. The newest occasion is The Phillips Graduate Institute Communications Bureau through which members can become speakers to local groups, schools, and organizations on their topic(s) of expertise in the field.
